2018 ScrapRight.com Recap and State of the Economy

Shon Duty Feb 23

2018, what an amazing and crazy year.

ScrapRight saw amazing growth and continued optimism from business owners in our economy and the markets.

ScrapRight moved into full force with our cloud-hosted option, started in 2017 and perfected with a few willing and friendly new clients such as Scrap Partners, https://scrappartnersllc.com, and The Recycling Centers, http://www.biggreenball.org, who really helped us to mold an excellent product in the cloud!

ScrapRight also completed a brand new, and totally written from the ground up, iOS app. The ScrapRight App can work stand alone for small mom and pops or for on the road buyers such as catalytic converter buyers, core buyers and especially for CRV and Hi5 Centers, see this video https://vimeo.com/315343310, amazing at how fast it is yet still keeps you fully compliant!

This app is also a companion app to our full ERP solution and we have hundreds of users using the app as an everyday workstation on or off of their yards! One such yard that has four apps in action all day every day is Capital Recycling in Montgomery AL, http://www.capitalrecyclingofmontgomery.com, this partnership has helped us to form what is the only iOS app and what we feel is the best app on the market for buying scrap!

Outside of all the new features, new functions, complete re-writes

What else is going on… Well, I am glad you asked

ScrapRight is continually committed to being the best, to Scrap RIGHT as it were

We have just completed what was started in 2018 what we referred to as shark week, there is another dedicated article to this topic in this edition of the magazine, but as it took up such a large part of this year for ScrapRight it would be wrong not to mention it in the State of the ScrapRight update. A massive re coding of so many different areas in the software, from speed, to accuracy, to enhancements ScrapRight continues to bring you, the scrap and recycling consumer, the best in the industry!
